Cookies

PatchVex is in early development. This is the complete, current list.

PatchVex sets exactly two cookies, both strictly necessary for the service to work — neither is used for tracking or advertising.

  • patchvex_session — a signed session token, set when you log in. Marked httpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and secure (HTTPS only). Used to keep you signed in.
  • patchvex_post_login_redirect — a short-lived cookie that remembers where to send you back to after completing a magic-link sign-in (for example, back to a scan report you were viewing). Cleared as soon as it's used.

Our analytics tool, Umami, does not set cookies at all — see our privacy policy for detail. Because every cookie PatchVex sets is strictly necessary for the service itself, we don't show a cookie-consent banner.
